Samantha Shyam

Samantha Shyam joined The Strong Firm team in April 2025, bringing with her experience in litigation, risk management, and international law. Samantha relocated to The Woodlands community from Maryland, where her most recent role was in litigation. Prior to that, she worked in risk management, ensuring that her clients experienced the highest level of client service and that disputes were resolved quickly and favorably whenever possible. Samantha clerked with Administrative Judge Pamila J. Brown in the Howard County District Court in Ellicott City, Maryland. Preceding her clerkship, Samantha was the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Fellow with the American Red Cross national headquarters office in Washington, D.C, focusing her research on international humanitarian law, national security law, and the effect of conflicts on the environment. Outside of work, Samantha, her husband, and their two puppies are enjoying all that The Woodlands has to offer.
